Max IT
The MAX IT SE features a C5IT Colorado Concept platform that combines TC5 Torsion Core™ carbon tubes and C4TI titanium with more than 100 stiffness options and an eccentric machined head tube and bottom bracket shell for reduced weight.Titanium and carbon have unique qualities that, when appropriately combined, produce a bike that is more than the sum of its parts. Carbon is light, stiff and infinitely tunable. Titanium is a durable and resilient material that makes for a smooth yet snappy ride. We introduced this idea in the Ottrott road frame and now have it in the MAX IT. The Max IT's carbon tubes extend through its Ti lugs and are coped (mitered) to perfectly intersect the adjoining tube. This allows the torsional rigidity of the carbon to extend through the entire joint while maximizing vertical dampening to create the amazing hardttail ride. Rider-specific TC5 and TC3 TorsionCore™ Colorado Concept carbon fiber top and down tubes maximize drivetrain stiffness and vertical compliance.
