Serotta's Custom Paint program is a Flash based drawing tool comprised of over 4,000 illustrations of frame sections and logos which represent 26 paint colors,and logos in solid and outline, as well as decal logos.

• Clicking on the gray bars (A) expands the menu options and shows a color palette.
• Clicking on the gray bar again collapses the menu. User can go back and forth through all the selections.
• It is intentionally not a step by step process... it allows the user to try colors that they may not have thought to use originally.
• Click a paint chip to load a color onto the frame. Note that this actually loads a file - if the server connection is slow, there may be a slight delay.
• Logos can be solid or outline. Color chips are divided diagonally: solid on the bottom left (B), outline on the top right (C)
• Decals options are indicated by a color chip with a "D" in the bottom right (D).
• User selections are noted in fields at the bottom (E).
• The dealer will review the mock up with the client to ensure the selections within Serotta's guidelines.
• The dealer should work with the client, show paint tube samples to ensure client satisfaction.Pricing, upcharges etc should be addressed at this time.

saving, printing & emailing

When you've got it just right, currently, the only way to save your design page is as a screenshot:

Mac users, press cmmd+shift 3. The file will be saved to your desktop as "Picture1.png"

PC users , press  PC:  alt+PrintScrn
Then paste into a document such as Word or save to your desktop.

Utilize the "print" (F) option by following the instructions on your screen.

If you have an Adobe PDF printer installed, you may also "print-to-PDF".

Serotta's Paint Program does not allow designs to be saved for later viewing.  Print or save all designs (using screenshot instructions) for future reference.

True finished colors may not appear as they do on screens or in printed materials. Serotta always recommends confirming paint choices against the actual painted tube color samples at a Serotta dealer. Consult with a dealer to confirm and fine-tune all color and options choices and to calculate actual costs.

good to know

Serotta's paint option levels (Level I, II, III) are designed for your convenience and to guide you through the creative process. On the other hand, if you find yourself dreaming beyond the options provided in the paint program,  inquire at your dealer about a Serotta Dream Bike where any option is possible.  Customer-generated Dream Bike designs are invidually priced based on the options chosen.

When it comes to paint, Serotta SE and GS models differ in the number of options available.  GS models provide Level I options, while SE models select from Level I, Level II or Level III.

Your paint program begins with a blank palette, keep in mind that you need to select and identify ANY decal or decorative information that you wish to appear on your finished frame.  This includes "Made in USA", SE, GS and F3 fork decals. Most customers expect to see these on their finished frame but none are automatic, they get applied to your frame only if you tell us to do so.

For Race and Elliptical, the fork includes the paint scheme. On all other schemes, forks are generally Painted-to-Match (PTM), but the customer can always choose another paint color or opt for clear-coat carbon, instead. 

PAINTED LOGOS are an option, providing richer appearance and greater durability in an endless variety of colors.
